I am a proud mama

My Mom and I got the girls new dresses and boots for church while we were visiting home. They look so dang cute and big. Yesterday we went up to Durango for a day trip. It was really cold but we still had a good time. We walked around the train station and the girls thought it was the neatest thing ever. They do a polar express in the winter and I think we may take the girls next winter when they are a little older and will be able to enjoy it more. Then last night we went to the college's free family movie night and watched Despicable Me. We loved it and the girls sat through their first movie (with the help of suckers, juice and popcorn of course). But we really enjoyed it. They sat on our laps the whole time and we decided that was the longest we have ever held them. It was so great. Here are pictures of our crazy girls.

I played with this picture on photoshop.

Mick and Zadie.

I love this picture because it looks like Zerin is running in one of those slow motion movie scenes where she is being reconnected with a long lost love and they are running across a field of flowers to hug. It just makes me laugh.

Winter is starting here. It actually snowed Wednesday night, although nothing stuck. So we bought coat sets for the girls. They were more excited about the gloves and beanies. Either our girls have big heads or the coats came with small beanies. Here is Zadie playing around the house in them.

Here is Zerin in her stuff. we were getting ready to leave for Durango. They also have a heavier coat that goes over the jackets but it is not that cold yet.

And Zadie in her winter gear.

We fond this park in Durango. It was more of a green belt with swings so we did not get out. It was too cold for us to sit and watch the girls swing. But I still thought it was neat.

Since it was too cold to play out at the parks we went to the mall instead. It is a really small mall but they had a few little rides. Of course the girls loved barney the best. Zadie gave him hugs.

Zerin gave him kisses.

When we got home, Mick fixed the singing pig they got for their first birthday. Zerin is in love with this pig and I will try to post a video of it soon.

Zadie was pouting because Zerin would not share the pig. Thank goodness we have a giant bear that was able to console her.
