WE ARE ALL HOME!!!!!

We have finally made it home and could not be happier! Yesterday morning the pediatrician told us the girls were doing great and she was happy with their progress and asked if I was going home or not. I told her I had not seen my doc yet so I didn't know. My doctor came in at 2pm and told me he was comfortable sending me home but wanted to keep me on the blood pressure medication (which he had to double the dose while I was there because it was not helping enough) and see me within the week. YEAH! WE CAN GO HOME! or so we thought... the girls were due to eat around 3 or 3:30 so we thought we would hang out, feed them, and then get things packed up to go home. Well the nurses came in a basically kick me out of the room because they needed it for another patient because they were overflowing in L&D. So my mom and mick got the room all packed up real fast and I was going to shower (I didn't get sleep that night and spent the morning resting, so no I had not showered yet) and get myself ready. Mick ran a load out to the truck and the nurse came in and told us the pediatrician was not ready to let Zadie go yet. I was mortified. WHY?!!! She wanted to monitor her feedings for a full 24 hours (which would be over around 6 or 7 that night.) So why we couldn't wait the few hours to leave with her or why she couldn't leave a little early i still do not understand. Well Mick was irate when I told him and while I showered he went to the nursery to try to get an explanation and her out. No deal. I had such a hard time letting her go that when I pushed her back into the special nursery she woke up and wanted to eat and I just started crying when I handed her to the nurse. The nurse could tell I was upset and let me feed her. Mick and my mom were waiting in my empty room wandering what was going on, mick came in and finisher her feeding and said goodbye, i went and told my mom we were feeding her, and we left the hospital with Zerin around 3 or 3:30. At 7:20pm we got a hold of the nurse and she had finished her last feeding and was ready to come home. Mick and I jumped (well I pretended) in the truck and went and got her. My mom stayed with Zerin. We got home just before 9pm and were so happy to have our whole family HOME!! Last night went really well and I even got a lot of rest. My mom is staying with us and is so awesome. Today we went to the paediatrician and he was very impressed with our beautiful little girls. Here are more pics of our perfect family!

They are so darling! I can't wait to meet them. Don't worry I didn't leave the house for 3 months because of rsv session it was hard but worth it.

I bet that was hard leaving one at home and at hospital. Adisin was at the hospital for 11 days. It was so hard. I'm glad you are all home now. Let me know if there is anything I can do! ps. take care of YOU!
