The past few days have been a little rough on me. My girls are wanting to be held. But I only have one set of arms. So when the crying gets to be too much, here are a couple of my solutions.
We all lay in bed together. They start out on my chest so I can pat their backs, and then once they are asleep I slide them over. My mom came over yesterday morning and found us like this. I was not really asleep but with no make up on I look pretty rough. So I pretended for this picture. The only problem with this solution is that I cannot get out of it without waking them up. So usually I am stuck watching tv and since I always forget to grab the remote I am stuck on one channel.
I got really creative with this one. I recently got these two packs and my girls love them. But I never thought I would wear them both at the same time. But I was at wits end and laying in bed was just not cutting it. So Wa-La! I do not know how I did it all by myself but I was pretty proud. The downfall of this method . . . it KILLED my back. Thank goodness Mick got home shortly after and rescued me.

Oh, I remember those days! I have been thinking about you for the last week or so and felt like I needed to call but just haven't done it. You do what ever you have to, to get them asleep or conforted. It does get better eventually......I promise. I need to come and get some loves in. Hang in there and let me know what I can do! I'm just going to stop one day before I pick up the girls. Hang in there!
Hey that is to funny. I love seeing your updates on your blog it makes me feel like i can watch them grow up with us not being right there so keep posting. Good luck! Love Brittny
Loved the update! It makes me want to come back over and hold those sweet little girls! And High Five on the pack idea! You are pretty amazing! I don't think I could do it...I would probably pull my hair out and sit in a corner and cry. You are very tough! That's why you're their mamma!
I did the same thing with Coby and Chloe. I would put both of them in the packs and walk around the house until they fell asleep. It always worked! I know it's hard, but hang in there. It does get better I promise!
this cracked me up! There both just strapped in there, hangin out! What a good idea though, even though it killed your back. Gotta do whatcha you gotta do right? They look identicle to me. Shelbie said you have to wait and see until there 6 months or something?? I think you'll just have to keep some of Shelbie's amazing pigtails in one of them? There both adorable that's for sure!! There room looks really cute too! Anyway, you are definitly one tuff lady. Hang in there, I'm sure it'll get better as time goes on. Oh ya, and I delete the comment above, apparently I wasn't paying attention and mispelled about every word I typed!
