Our new daily life.

Now that we are home for four days we are trying to keep life organized. Of course that is always easier than it sounds. Here are some pictures of how our days have been going.

The girls eat every three to three and a half hours. We are still working on getting them on a schedule where I will be able to feed one, put back to bed and then feed and put down the other. But sometime they are awake together and that is when I really need an extra hand or sometimes two. When Mick is at work and during the late night feedings my mom is my right hand. They are great little eaters.

Aunt Shannon is in training to be the favorite baby sitter because she lives real close and can help me when Mick has things going on.

Mick took the late night/early morning feedings on Saturday night and let my mom and me get some solid sleep. Zadie had a messy diaper go up her back so Mick decided to rinse her off. But while he was carrying her to the bathroom he stuck her on his hip and wa-la a nice little poopy butt print on dad's shirt. When we go through at least 16 diapers a day this is bound to happen. I think we all have been peed on.

Zerin loves bath time. The warm water seems to smooth her. But she is not such a big fan of being dried off and having her diaper off. The cool air does not make her happy.

Zadie likes bath time too. But they both really seem to enjoy getting their hair washed. I think it is because their bodies are bundled up and the warm water feels good on their heads.

In between all this chaos, we always find time to cuddle. These two little girls are making our hearts overflow with joy and love. We still cannot get over how good looking they are.

They love to sleep on their dad. He is one big teddy bear when they are around. They will definitely have him wrapped around their little fingers.

Even my mom loves to love on them, even after waking up at three in the morning to help me feed them and to change their dirty diapers.

This is where they get their beauty sleep. They rotate between being back to back and face to face. Mick and I are paranoid that if they sleep the same way every night that their heads will go flat. It happens!

Oh, I started crying looking at the pictures and remembering those days! Enjoy it! I didn't think it would ever end....the diapers, bottles, more diapers, spit up, burping, all of it. It goes by and they grow up so fast.

They are so stinckin CUTE! I can't wait to meet them.

I will text you and tell you about the dream I had the other night about you.....funny!

Oh- and yes their head will go flat. It happened to my Madison. Her neck was out and she would never let me move her head any other way and it always ended up on the one side. It was bad enough that we almost had to do the head gear to reshape it. Thank goodnes for Chiropractors.
