Fun filled weekend!!!

We had a busy weekend, but I don't have any pictures. Sorry!

Friday night my parents took us out to dinner and I have to brag on my husband a little bit. We were in the lobby waiting to be seated (Mick does not wait well) so I gave him some quarters to play the little claw machine. First try he pulls out the most random white and brown rabbit/mouse thing with red pants. There was a little girl sitting with her family on the bench next to the machine and here eyes lit up when she saw him win. I don't know if she even said anything, but Mick instantly handed her the toy. You would have thought he had given her a puppy. She held it like a little baby and rocked it in her arms. So cute. After a few more unsuccessful tries he came back over to sit down. I had dug out a few more quarters and sent him back. In my mind I thought "He better win another one because when our girls are here he will have to win two. One will not cut it." On his last try he pulled out an orange monkey and told me he would give it to Beau to suck on. (Yes our dog sucks on stuffed animals like he is nursing. If you've seen it you know how funny it is.) There was a family sitting next to us with a little girl who told her parents she wanted to win something, instantly Mick asked her if she wanted the monkey. She gladly accepted with the same joyful face as the other girl. Mick leaned over to me and said, "I can't wait until our girls get here." I replied, "So you can win them toys and be their hero?" "Yep!" I know he is going to be the best dad ever.

Saturday morning we headed to Payson for a Merrill reunion. I do have a few pics that I will try to post later. We all met at the Tonto Bridge and had a picnic. It was really great to get together with all of my Grandma Ellsworth's family and to see Jeff and Jenny and their kids. We were late of course and showed up just in time to eat, play games, and visit a bit. Even though Payson is cooler than Phoenix it was hot. I am just not used to sitting outside. I have spoiled myself with air conditioning this summer. After the reunion we stopped in town and visited with my friend Levi then made the drive home. That night we went over to my uncle Marcus's to play games. It was a fun filled day and as soon as we got home I hit my pillow and was out cold.

On Sunday my pregnancy finally got me. I am generally a fairly clumsy person but tend to avoid any serious injury. Since being pregnant I tend to trip, roll an ankle, almost fall, etc. a lot. Sunday I finally fell. Not hard, but still. I fell and could not get up. I was picking up laundry in the bathroom and lost my balance and landed on my back. It has been soar ever since. But nothing serious. It just makes me laugh. I can't bend over like a normal person and my center of balance keeps moving around on me. After church we went to my mom's for dinner and played games there. The boys got all their stuff ready to start school today. Jim Paul is a senior (Holy cow!) and Turner is a sophomore. Football games are right around the corner and I cannot wait. Even though I will probably miss half of them I am so pumped. GO KNIGHTS!!!!
