Okay! I think i am starting to understand how this whole blog thing works and it is pretty cool. Yesterday I had one of those mornings where nothing goes right. After medicating and putting up the dogs, getting ready, stopping on the way to work to get gas without my wallet or phone, returning home and spilling chocolate milk all over...I decided to call in sick to work. Mick's job for the day cancelled on him after he already left the house at 6:00 am. So we spent the day together and we're even productive. Went to the bank, pick up the cribs I ordered, went to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes (YUM!!) and then finished all our business tax stuff. (We always file an extension.he he) Then my mom brought Turner out so I could help him redo a math test that he bombed so he could make up some points. Looking back on the day it was great! Sometimes I feel like I never get to see Mick because by the time we get home from work I am so tired that all we do is eat and sleep. I just can't wait until I can stay home and enjoy my family. And in about three weeks we will know a little more about who will be making up our new family. Twins!! It still blows my mind.

Now living in New Mexico, our family of four is finding adventure in living everyday. Mick and I have been married for almost 8 years and Zerin and Zadie are 2 going on 16. Along with Beau and Chopper we are settling into our new home. We are going to have so much fun this winter and can't wait for our first chance to play in the snow.

HAWAII
We enjoyed a great two week trip to Hawaii for our 5 year anniversary
We spent one week in Waikiki and the next in Kona. Our favorite day was spent on the river playing in the waterfalls. We were the only people in sight!
We were able to do a lot of scuba diving. We saw octopus, sea turtles, an old sunken ship and three sharks. Mick survived an incident with a sea urchin that he describes as "felt just like a cactus."

hello mick & sam... this is anna, brittany's friend. i saw your blog on britt's and had to say hi. i think you know, but my cousin lives a few houses down from you guys and i went to her house last friday and mick was out washing his truck so i was waving at him. sorry if he thought it was some psycho that didn't know him, it was just me! congrats, by the way, on your twins. VERY exciting!
Sounds like your day got better. I am glad you got to take work off and relax with Mick. Enjoy it because it only gets more interesting when your babies come!!!!
Isn't that the best? When you can take a day off of work and spend it with your spouse! I cherish those days because they are few and far between! I still am SO anxious to see what the babies will be! Post it immediatley!
Did you let Mick pick out your music and your page....you need some Boyz to men or some Bubble gum music;) LOL
You will have lots more of those days..we have have break downs together...if you can ever make it out of your house with the new additions!! It is always good to ditch sometimes:-}
